Day 1 in SYD

I'll be posting the photos for 1st day in sydney, didnt do much for the day, just a brief tour of the city + sydney opera house & sydney tower. Touched down at 7.30am sydney time which is equivalent to 4.30 am SG time,so naturally, I'm suffering from a lil jet lag and the air in the plane makes my eyes & lips really dry, maybe my skin too and I couldnt get to sleep at all, prolly managed to snag 3hours of sleep only, it was a 7hr flight, & not to mention, I was sitting in the centre column so its even harder to sleep w/o the extra few centimetres of space you get with the window seat :( and yada yada its an never ending list of complaints about plane journeys from the bland /wierd food to the annoying sucking sound of the toilet flush,so I shall just stop my complaints here. Everyone was feeling so BLEH. D:

1st stop : Sydney opera house, we didnt go in though cos there wasnt any performance going on and it requires $$ to enter an empty theatre? Meh.
Photobucket
Sydney OH + sydney bridge, I'd really like to climb the sydney bridge one day. Apparently, my dad thinks its too dangerous so :( not for now. 10yrs later maybe. I'll be 25 then .

Me + SOH + tourists scattered all over.

Next stop: Sydney tower
Photo credit to google cos I didnt snap a pix of the tower.

And here's the inside:

Basically its just a really high tower to allow you a view of the city, which isnt in the least bit spectacular, just a mess of tress, sky scrapers and the sea.
Photobucket
See,nice meh? Without all the sky scrapers, maybe.
Photobucket
View of SOH from the binoculars provided in the tower.

We then moved on to this place: I have no idea where it is cos I was sleeping throughout the bus ride.
Photobucket
In contrast to the previous location, the view here was breathtaking. Like x100000 nicer than the photo,Sometimes, photos just dont do justice. Wont ever be able to find such a place in singapore. Sadness.
Photobucket
According to the guide, loads of people commit suicide here :/ (a place of sad/lost souls?) I think cos its a really beautiful place to die, cos when people commit suicide they're unhappy with life right,so at least die must die in a nice place. :) So anw, people commiting suicide which explains the presence of the fences and a camera in the following picture.
Photobucket
They also have this notice saying :"there's hope, call (some number i forgot) for help etcetc) persuading people to change their minds if they were there to take their own lives. But i didnt snap a pix of that. Also, street cameras (exclude traffic cams la) are not as common in sydney as they are in Singapore. Stores in the city can go without a single camera, obviously, they trust their people.I like that ;) You certainly dont walk down the streets of the city and see cameras attached to lamp posts staring at you. Doesnt feel good lor.

Photobucket

Really windy there too, I look horrid cos I just woke up and opened my eyes to such a beautiful place -dies- Okay,I'm exaggerating-.-

Street views:

Over there, they're like 40-50 % asians, or maybe even more, idk. The entire place was more or less like sg. Many migrated there for their more relaxed life I guess, as compared to singapore's sad,fast-paced one. The people there are really happy and easy-going due to their stress-free life. BLEH. unfairness.

Back to our hotel, washed up etc .
Photobucket
And took a walk round chinatown (where our hotel is).

Day 1 summed up :) Day 2 up soon! :D
